Sara Sommerfeld

Founder · Author · Director · Producer

Sara Sommerfeld is an award-winning author, actor, director and producer with more than three decades of experience in storytelling and cultural production.

Through her production company, founded in 2008, she has developed and produced film, television and stage productions, including nationwide theatre tours. Her work spans original content, screenplays, stage works, directing, editing, creative teams, production, PR, marketing and sales.

For the launch of her debut novel, Sommerfeld produced a large-scale marketing campaign with high-profile launch events, media coverage and a nationwide theatre tour combining stage performances with book signings. The novel became a national success, was voted finalist by readers in the Swedish Feelgood Awards and received second place in the category Debut of the Year at the Adlibris Prize.

As founder of LeBen Books, she brings together decades of experience from film, television, literature and the performing arts to build a publishing house that combines artistic vision with professional production and market reach.

Proofreader & Creative Advisor

Marianne Ahrne

An award-winning filmmaker, author and screenwriter with more than five decades in film, television and literature. The first woman to receive Sweden's Guldbagge Award for Best Director, her work spans more than forty films and series, ten novels, and criticism for film and literary journals. From 2003–2006 she was a film commissioner at the Swedish Film Institute, developing screenplays for a new generation of Scandinavian cinema. At LeBen Books she brings narrative insight, editorial precision and dramaturgical expertise.

Art Director & Cover Designer

Daga Lamy

A Stockholm-based visual designer with a rare ability to translate story into visual identity. Trained at Berghs School of Communication, with a background as both artist and storyteller, she brings a refined contemporary aesthetic and deep creative sensitivity to every book project. At LeBen Books, Lamy leads cover design and visual direction.

Web & Campaign Designer

Lars Göran Blom

Responsible for the design and technical build of the LeBen Books website, ensuring a clean, elegant and high-performing digital presence. He also supports the house with visual design for selected campaign materials and digital assets.

Operations & Production Coordinator

Cecilia Frosteus

Brings structure, calm precision and human understanding to the publishing process. With a professional background in occupational therapy and specialised knowledge in neurodiversity, she supports workflow, production planning and administrative coordination.

Literary Events Manager

Anna Eklund

Supports LeBen Books with literary events, author appearances and selected launch activities.
