Sommerfeld

Sara Sommerfeld is an award-winning multilingual Swedish actress with more than three decades of experience across film, television and theatre. She has appeared in over 50 leading roles and is known for her ability to move fluidly between genres and languages.

A graduate of the Swedish Theatre Academy in Gothenburg (1997–2001), she gained national recognition opposite Alexander Skarsgård in Wings of Glass, earning Best Actress at the Nordic Film Festival in Haugesund and a Guldbagge nomination for Best Actress.

Most recently she performed the solo show Show Bizniz on the Main Stage of Sweden's Royal Dramatic Theatre — broadcast on SVT in 2025. She has also been chosen to perform at the Swedish Teaterbiennalen in Örebro with Lars Norén's Modet att döda.
