Is Everything I Learned About Love a Lie?
Debut Novel · 2025

Is Everything I Learned About Love a Lie?

Är allt jag lärt mig om kärlek en lögn?

An emotional autobiographical novel written with self-distance and a large measure of humour. Sara Sommerfeld unabashedly faces her self-hatred, doubts and fragile self-esteem — and travels to Bali to find herself. With Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love as a companion, it becomes both a dramatic and life-changing journey. A novel about traveling far away to find home, about the search for one's true self and the killing of one's inner perfectionist.

Is Everything I Believed About Becoming a Mother a Lie?

Är allt jag trott om att bli mamma en lögn?

The more the mother fights to save her child, the clearer it becomes that she is also fighting to find something she lost long ago: herself. An emotionally honest novel about motherhood, love and identity — written with the same unflinching honesty and warmth that made Sara's debut a bestseller.
